Summit Fellowship Club


The purpose for which the corporation was organized is:
  1. To provide a facility where recovering alcoholics may come together for mutual support;
  2. To sponsor social and other fellowship functions;
  3. To counsel the suffering alcoholic and to provide a mutual meeting place for transportation to AA meetings and to treatment centers;
  4. To work with local hospitals and recovery programs after the alcoholic has been detoxed;
  5. To provide the first 30 day membership free to new members;
  6. To promote the building of better citizenship and leadership through the development of character among the membership and the community;
  7. To work with churches and other organizations on alcoholism (schools, courts, businesses, etc.);
  8. To provide meeting areas for related substance abusers as is needed.

Summation:
The main purpose is to help the alcoholic. All members of this club are recovering alcoholics and there is nothing better than one alcoholic talking to another alcoholic about their common problem.
